production follow-up

Year: 2016

« Le Reflet » is a project carried by Flore Lelièvre and the association Trinôme. Their mission is to create places of social and professional diversity, where physically or mentally handicapped people live and work with the rest of the society. Their goal is to create a gourmet restaurant in Nantes where professional cooks and handicapped worker collaborate. The restaurant will offer a rich cuisine and a true human place of culinary travel !

The plates created by Flore aim to accompany her extra-ordinary team. Indeed, people with Down's syndrome have smaller hands and shorter fingers. Their skeleton is different and modifies their prehension capacities and stability. After realizing many tests with different person with Down's syndrome, Flore found a global handprint. It will be reproduce on the plates used at the restaurant, helping the waiters by giving them more prehension over it and it also gives an aesthetic plus !

Our challenge:

For the restaurant Le Reflet, Pulse & Pulpe did, from the drawings of Flore, the technical 3D files of the plate. Our agency then accompanied the restaurant in the search for industrials, the prototypes and launch of the production.

We support Le Reflet where the issue of handicapped people is rethought to be sublimated and where the place gives a unique consumption experience. This project share our values and our mission based on accessibility and de-stigmatization.
